Quick Take with Priyanka Chopra at TIFF 2017

The Priyanka Chopra invasion took over the Toronto International Festival 2017 from Sep 6 to 8, all the city was buzzing about was PC.

The largest public film festival in the world began by honouring the former Miss World and now global superstar Priyanka Chopra at the TIFF Soiree, day before the official commencement of the festival. This was followed by the World Premiere of Sikkimese film, Pahuna: The Little Visitors, produced by Priyanka helmed Purple Pebble Pictures and directed by debutant Paakhi Tyrewala.

We spoke to Priyanka Chopra while she was in Toronto about the her latest home production Pahuna, the social responsibility of social media and being a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She may be facing flak for her comments about Sikkim, but it takes a special kind of valor to acknowledge one’s error and apologize.
